JBL has released at least two firmware updates for the Go 3 since its 2021 launch:

If an update is available (e.g., from v0.1.0 to v0.2.5), tap “Update.” Keep the phone and speaker within 1 meter. Do not play audio or close the app. The speaker will blink white LED during the update (approximately 2–3 minutes). Upon completion, the speaker will power cycle. jbl go 3 update

Download from Google Play Store or Apple App Store. Ensure the app has location permissions (Android) and Bluetooth permissions (iOS). JBL has released at least two firmware updates
