Her adult life presented further challenges. After a divorce, Mariza Lamb found herself as a single mother of three, working over 12 hours a day to make ends meet. She has spoken emotionally about the frustration of her children being raised by teachers and daycare workers, saying the situation was "unbearable". The turning point came after she underwent some personal physical changes and began sharing new photos on her account. The positive feedback and "enormous amount of attention" she received inspired her to create a business. Leveraging her marketing experience, she launched her own subscription-based site. She described seeing immediate earning potential and subsequently invested in a director and editor to help produce high-quality, creative content.
