In everyday clad (clothed) society, clothing acts as a curation tool. We use fashion to accentuate parts of our bodies we like and camouflage the parts we don’t. While fashion can be a form of joyful self-expression, it can also act as armor, hiding our perceived flaws from a judgmental world. Furthermore, the media we consume presents a skewed version of humanity, dominated by youth, symmetry, and fitness.
