Battery is fully charged. The charger will now enter maintenance mode.

If the charger fails to identify a battery or displays "BAT," it indicates a serious issue. Try checking the connections, cleaning the terminals, or using a "jump-start" method to introduce initial voltage if the battery is completely flat. Safety Guidelines Never attempt to charge a frozen battery. Keep the charger away from flammable materials.

The MotoMaster 11-1567 manual identifies several common error codes that may appear on the display: Reverse Polarity

| Battery Type | 2A Maintain | 10A Charge | 40A Boost | Notes | |--------------|-------------|------------|-----------|-------| | Small (up to 30Ah) | Yes | No (too high) | No | Use 2A only to avoid overheating. | | Car (40–80Ah) | Yes | Yes | Yes | Standard flooded preferred. | | Truck (80–120Ah) | Maintenance only | Yes (slow) | Yes (3 sec max) | AGM recommended. | | Marine Deep Cycle | Yes (storage) | Yes | No (use 10A instead) | Set to DEEP mode. | | Motorcycle (6–20Ah) | Yes | No | No | Use 2A only. |

For the most precise safety information, always consult the hardcopy that came with your charger.

| Stage | Purpose | What Happens | |-------|---------|---------------| | | Recovers sulfated batteries | Sends voltage pulses to break down lead‑sulfate crystals | | Bulk Charge | Delivers maximum current | Recharges battery at selected rate (3A or 15A) until 80–90% full | | Absorption | Finishes the charge | Constant voltage, decreasing current to bring battery to 100% | | Float Maintain | Keeps battery ready | Low‑voltage maintenance prevents overcharging and extends battery life |
