Skip to content dgVoodoo comes with a separate executable: dgVoodooCpl.exe . Run this. You do not install it; you just open it, and it configures the .conf file you just copied.
However, if your heart is set on resurrecting a true (whether on real hardware or a VM), you must use dgVoodoo 1.x . It is one of several excellent options, but it is by no means the only one.
Select "Unforced" to keep original visuals, or choose your native monitor resolution (like 1920x1080 or 3840x2160) to upscale the game drastically.
