This adds a vertical layer of strategy. Instead of just worrying about the arc of your grenade, you now have to consider whether an enemy has taken refuge in a bunker. Do you send a worm in to clear it out with a Shotgun, or do you simply drop a Dynamite on the roof to collapse the entire building?
Maps are no longer strictly solid landmasses. Buildings introduce interior spaces that offer a layer of psychological warfare. When a worm enters a building, the roof remains opaque to opponents, hiding the worm's exact location inside. This makes buildings excellent sniper nests or safe havens from airstrikes, though they can easily become death traps if an enemy tosses a grenade through the front door. 3. : Large structures offer "fog of war" interiors where worms can hide from sight and take cover from aerial attacks. This adds a vertical layer of strategy
The maps are filled with enterable buildings. These provide cover from aerial attacks (like Airstrikes) and allow for hidden positioning, forcing players to think carefully before launching rockets 0.5.5. Maps are no longer strictly solid landmasses
