In Mumbai, Viju’s manic, energetic oratory skills attract the attention of two ruthless corporate sharks, played by Gautham Vasudev Menon and Chemban Vinod Jose. They recruit him to be the face of a lucrative new "business plan"—a fake, miracle-working Christian pastor. Under the tutelage of a theologist (Dileesh Pothan), Viju is transformed into Pastor Joshua Carlton. As his fame and influence grow, he is consumed by a vortex of money, power, drugs, and his own trauma, leading to a spiraling descent into paranoia and madness. The film is a scathing critique of the commercialization of faith and the exploitation of religious belief for profit.
