Because PC-3000 is fundamentally a hardware-software system, so-called “software-only” cracks cannot replicate the functionality of a genuine PC-3000 system. At best, cracked versions may allow superficial access to the software interface — but without the proprietary UDMA-E controller card, most hardware-level operations will fail or produce incorrect results.
