Perhaps the most intriguing story behind the album is the participation of legendary German keyboardist . Known for his work with the progressive rock band Triumvirat , Fritz made a "comeback" appearance on the album, handling keyboards and drum programming. He also co-wrote three of the album's tracks. The addition of a musician known for complex rock arrangements gave the album's Euro-disco foundation an unexpected depth, blending rock-solid grooves with more intricate synth work.
The original, and arguably most iconic, lineup was a truly international trio, a reflection of the globalized pop market of the mid-80s:
